Enlarged breasts that are caused by excess weight or obesity can be resolved with a loss of weight. It is important that you lose the weight in a healthy manner or you risk the weight coming right back on. Those who notice that they are developing enlarged breasts between the ages of twelve and eighteen there is really no cause for treatment. This is a normal part of the development that a boy will go through. The body is producing too little testosterone and too much estrogen, which is the cause of the enlarged breasts.
