H2OOOOOOoh ... And Weight Loss!

By Christian Goodman

H2O is well know for it's health benefits. It has also long been credited with helping people who are trying to lose weight. The reasons why though are not so widely known.

Some say that it helps you to feel full so you eat less.

Some suggest that just having something to do with your hands help replace the desire to munch.

While these reasons may have validity, there is also a very basic benefit water provides to the body. The metabolism relies on it.

We know that metabolism plays a huge role in weight loss. But how does water fit in?

Fat is metabolized by the liver. The liver turns the fat into energy.

The liver also provides help to the kidneys when they are not performing at peak level. But in doing so, the liver is not able to optimally complete the function of metabolizing fat. It's busy helping the kidneys.

Now you see where the water comes into play. The kidneys require water in fairly large amounts to do their job. If your body senses that it is not getting enough water, it will begin to store water in unlikely and undesirable places.

One way to help the body eliminate water 'storage' is to let it have confidence that a continuous stream of water is coming down the pipe and there is no need to hoard.

8 glasses of water each containing 8 ounces of water can do it for most people.

Temperature and weight also dictate if a person may need to consume substantially more water. Those who live in hot temperatures and those who are overweight definately need to increase their average water intake.

The body is very efficient at regging rid of water that is not needed.

People tend to take in less water when dieting, simply because overall less intake of food and drink is normally required.

The body receives about 30% of it's water via food intake. In eating less, we are also getting less water.

So stay mindful of the need for water especially when cutting down on food intake. And you don't need to wait until you're parched to drink.

Your body will have already begun experiencing dehydration at the point you feel thirst, and it will have already begun hanging on to every drop of water it can find.

Water actually places key role in my Weight Loss Breeze program. But I use it in totally different way than I've seen in any weight loss program before. Try it and you'll see amazing results. - 15683
