Part-2 The High Protein Diet For Weight Loss

By Florentina Ryan

Part-2 When choosing a diet plan, pick a diet that allows you to eat foods from every food group no matter what age you are. Balance is important in all aspects of life, includes the foods that you eat! Eating Low G.I. Carbohydrates, plenty of vegetables and fruit, good source of protein,( lean red meat, poultry ,fish and etc.) in moderation and consistent regular exercise, you will certainly lose weight. Cutting out entire food groups from your daily diet is not the healthiest way to go! One thing important for my diet is to eat a diet that is built around plenty of fruits and vegetables, as well as whole grains, fish, and poultry, lean red meat and water! It is essential and to drink plenty of water each day is a must if you want to stay healthy!

Your body needs protein to function. It is the building block of your muscle. During a strength training or weightlifting workout, your muscles are getting broken down. You need high quantities of protein to rebuild and repair your muscles.

Diet high in protein foods are mainly foods that are high in protein and are beneficial and important in losing weight. Foods high in protein are very low in carbohydrates and saturated fat (the animal fat that is not healthy and not good for the body.).By eating food loaded with a high protein in moderation you would end up eating low carbohydrate foods and low saturated fat foods and is healthy for the body.

To lose weight and lose fat, eat low G.I. carbohydrates, moderate amount of food rich in protein, plenty of vegetables & fruits and no or little saturated fat,add unsaturated fats in your diet, plus plenty of water and constant regular exercise. Some sources of unsaturated fat (good oil) are flaxseed oil, extra virgin olive oil, sunflower oil, walnuts, all-natural peanut butter, cold water fish and avocados and etc. A bit of saturated fat is okay, don't go overboard

Eating the required quantity of high protein foods is not very easy, because of the amount of meat to consume per day. However there is a protein supplements as a substitute. Protein shakes (powder mixed with any fluid you want) and bars are the solution to the problem. Two scoops of protein powder your average drink give you 30+ grams of protein, and is easy to prepare. It takes only a minute to make and drink.

The average bars have 30 grams each, and are the size of an average candy bar. The best time to consume high protein, are : as soon as you wake up in the morning, last thing prior to going to bed at night, and just after your workout. Remember though that the main point of eating a high protein diet is to supply your body with all of the protein that it needs . To fufil these needs it is recommended that a person eats a small meal once every 3 hours. - 15683
