As a parent my children's development is very important to me. I hate all the ridiculous junk on the TV and internet. We needed to find something that could both challenge my children's mental abilities while allowing them an outlet for all their energy. The Fisher Price Smart Cycle was our answer.
It doesn't matter what the weather outside is doing, my kids can get physical activity along with the fulfillment of accomplishment as they succeed in the tasks and mini games the Fisher Price Smart Cycle software provides. I get time to myself while my kids race for the best time, or sometimes they help each other succeed in the letter/ number identifying side games!
The Fisher Price Smart Cycle Toys require 4 "D" Size Batteries. We bought T-2299 Universal Smart Fast Charger with 8 Tenergy D batteries so our children can enjoy hours of uninterrupted fun. We can charge 4 at a time and the kids can be playing the other 4 for hours.
It isn't difficult to swap games in the Fisher Price Smart Cycle. Even my youngest enjoys being able to do it "all by himself" (you know how independent kids are!). As he tires of one game it is just a hop, skip and a jump to pull one cartridge out and stick the next one in, and the adventure never stops!
Now you don't have to leave home to enjoy the arcade; it come right into your living room with the Fisher Price Smart Cycle. It uses the plug-and-play type hook ups to connect to your TV or VCR and so is ready to go when the kids are ready to play! They really enjoy the ability to choose different models, colors, and vehicles. They can also change their environment as they switch games. (Which are sold separately).
Navigation is easy with the software we've purchased because each software cartridge comes with a "helper" to assist in guiding your children through the different obstacles and side games. I don't know what I would do without my Fisher Price Smart Cycle.
Many children's toys are for a very specific age and capability range, but the Fisher Price Smart Cycle adjusts as my children grow. The seat has 3 height settings so every child is comfortable, and the best part is that the Fisher Price Smart Cycle software has even more flexibility than the seat! There are different games for different ages, so as my child outsmarts one game the next is up to the challenge. The Fisher Price Smart Cycle can keep up with fast learning toddlers!
When cycling becomes tiresome, the learning can continue with fun filled learning games that are controlled using a conveniently placed joystick that is near the handle bars. The Fisher Price Smart Cycle has other titles of software; some of ours are Sponge Bob Square Pants, Hot Wheels, and even Dora the explorer. (These are sold individually)
