Every five or seven years fashion trends come full circle and what was in fashion say five years ago will be in fashion all over again. Given this hypothesis I have very successfully managed to recycle my outfits that I made for myself five years ago and had tucked them away in the safekeeping of my old trusted trunk for safekeeping until they were in vogue once again. In the mean time I take off to the market to get myself some good bargains on clothing that have come into style. What I failed to recon with is the fact that in the years that my outfits were stored away, I had gone in for some weight gain!! So you know what this means, don't you?
First step: To begin with I sat down and took stock of all my eating habits. Before long I was aware that I was consuming too much unhealthy food than I was the healthy food stuff. Through the years I had inadvertently donned the title of queen of take away and a connoisseur of all kinds of processed foods. I just had to change this. I decided that starting immediately it was going to be only fresh vegetables, lean meats preferably fish and all topped by the healthiest deserts that would include only fresh fruit. Before long my clothes were not so clingy and tight. Had I succeeded in stopping the weight gain?
Second step: The regular four cups of coffee every day of my life was immediately replaced with four full glasses of cool water and a single drink of coffee. Being addicted to coffee this was a bit difficult to stick to so I decided to force myself to down a cool glass of water before drinking my cup of coffee. This filled up the extra room that the other three cups of coffee would normally have filled and so having no room for coffee this brought down my coffee consumption. Reducing my coffee intake made me realize that I no longer felt bloated all the time. Perhaps this is why I have put on a slimmer look. I believe that my weight loss dream has begun to change to reality.
Third step: Exercise was a bad word to me. After all, I kept a spotless house so all the exercise I got from cleaning surely had to be equal to any athlete. Then I read an article about metabolism so I knew right there what the problem was. I had to increase my activity in order to give my metabolism a boost. I hated exercise though remember? But I loved dancing. There was the solution. I worked myself out a dance exercise program and absolutely loved it.
Third step: Exercise was a bad word for me; I just did not like the very idea. But it was necessary to increase my metabolism rate and I knew I just had to exercise a bit more. So, since I love dancing I made an exercise dancing routine for myself. There is no better and enjoyable way to achieve weight loss than dancing to your favorite music. My dance toke care of the sluggish metabolism and also a great deal of my weight loss as well.
One thing is for certain and that is the next time I pull out some old clothes from my fashion chest they are going to fit me just fine! - 15683
