Don't Be A Weight Loss Idiot

By Jennifer About

Please do not be a idiot at weight loss. Are you the kind of person who just goes out buys into the next fad diets, infomercial pill or product?

Weight loss can be easy. Or it can be very hard, especially if you make the following mistakes.

How can I avoid mistakes? You just need to learn, all the crazy things people do. What works and what doesn't. You can learn from their mistakes.

Here are some of the ridiculous beliefs of weight loss idiots.

1. Carbohydrates are fattening and there fore bad:

Carbohydrates are only bad for you, if they have a high G.I value. Basmati rice, for example has very low G.I value because its a long chain carbohydrate.

Carbs with low G.I do not make you fat, and are an excellent source of fiber and energy.

High G.I foods can make you store fat, foods like sugar, white flour and other refined products are the culprit.

2. Fats are really bad for you:

Omega 3's and omega 6's are good for you and are essential for positive health. Then their are harmful fats, the trans fats and saturated fats, which are totally bad for you.

Many health benefits, including Weight Loss can be achieved simply by consuming foods that contain good fats, including Walnuts, Olives, Almonds, Cashews, Avocados and Hazelnuts.

3. You Must Convert Fat Into Muscle:

Who comes up with this rubbish? You can not ever turn fat into muscle, fat is not a prerequisite for muscle and it is ridiculous to assume otherwise.

Fat and Muscle are two very different things - It would be like turn an egg into an elephant.

4. You Must Not Eat If You Want To Lose Weight:

Not True - Starvation cannot make you lose weight. Not a solution because we must eat in order to live. You must eat to lose weight, in fact often and in small portions.

What you should do is eat smaller frequent meals. This way you will not overeat, you never starve yourself and you will build a metabolism like a Tiger - ROAR.

Here are some of the foods that will help you in losing weight. Consume plenty of fresh fruits and nuts. Avoid meat, chicken and fish. - 15683
